Companionship for those receiving care:
Many care agencies focus on tasks to help you or your loved ones get through the day. At Managing Care we believe in looking at the whole picture, where your holistic wellbeing is cared for. This means you are not sat alone with the TV for company. Instead, our positively natured carers will engage with you to help stimulate your mind, body and soul so you can feel revived and happy.
Mind
Our carers are great conversationalists with interests in various subjects, from history to gardening. Research has shown that mental stimulation through brain teasers, puzzles and games can keep you more alert and happier. At Managing Care, our companionship service has been specially designed to help you to stay active, feel part of society and connect with the people around you. What makes us different is that we create a care and support plan with emphasis on stimulation, companionship and fun as part of your homecare.
Body
living a healthy lifestyle at any age in whatever way you can will improve your daily life and reduce the risk of developing chronic diseases. It also reduces symptoms of depression and pain and improves balance and prevents falls. We at Managing Care understand how this can be unique for every person. Our care workers can support you and/or your loved one to remain healthy as part of the homecare plan, whether this means accompanied walks or some simple activities at home.
Soul
They say laughter is the language of the soul and our carers at Managing Care live by this. We are known to form formidable companionships with the people we care for through our passion to make them smile. For example, our carers arrange entertainment, days out, accompany you to lunch or read with people. Just let us know what makes you smile!

Caring is shared between Managing Care and my husband. We wanted to change the pattern of support to provide consistency continuously and over the past years, Managing Care cares have been very good, supporting my well-being.
I have a regular carer and she is very good and she meets all my needs.
All my carers have been very kind to me I enjoy seeing them every day.
We are very pleased with Managing Care. Their team is sensitive to our mum’s moods and anxieties caused by dementia and everyone ensured her needs are met. We would wholeheartedly recommend Managing Care.
