Purpose of role;
To support customers to enjoy the best quality of life that they can in the comfort of their own homes. Compassion, good communication and organisational skills together with a calm and caring manner are vital for this important role in our company. Our Health Care Assistants provide 'well being' and 'physical' support to our Clients to help them maintain their independence at home. Typically carers will help with washing, dressing, getting up/going to bed, medication and other domestic tasks.
Task; examples -
* Personal care – washing, bathing clients
* Maintains a safe, secure, and clean client environment by following standards and procedures; changing linens, dusting, vacuuming; maintaining kitchen and bathroom facilities, handling personal laundry; maintaining security.
* Provides nutritious meals by dietary requirements and nutrition standards; preparing, cooking, and serving meals and snacks. * Maintains continuity of client home care by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs in the clients journal for the next carer.
*Accompanying clients to appointments, Providing stabilisation and assistance with walking, Collecting prescriptions, Running errands

Care Certificate (National Award) plus Diploma units for QCF 2 and 3.
2 day training in Dementia Awareness

Responsible for the development and supervision of the care team ensuring a high standard of care is delivered to all customers in the area. Effective implementation of customer care assessments, care & support plans, risk assessments and reviews.
Duties and responsibilities
Managing Care are looking for an experienced Care Coordinator to work for their well-established domiciliary care company based at our branch in Putney.
Working within a busy, very friendly office environment coordinating care hours for a close knit care team. Managing Care provides support and assistance to people who wish to maintain an independent lifestyle in their own home.

Do you have previous homecare coordinator experience?
Do you have experience of using staffplan software?
Do you have experience of electronic call monitoring?
Do you have social care qualification to NVQ2 or equvalent?
