Esther started her career in accounting and IT business consultancy. She was motivated by forming her own company from her own family experience. Her brother was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma in his mid-thirties and it was a difficult time for her family whilst she had young children to look after. Esther felt that there had to be a better way to provide quality and flexible care at home as well as additional support even in hospitals. Esther explains; “Sometimes I came in too late during lunch times and I struggled that his meal was untouched and there was not enough attentive support on the small things…”. With her professional background and the desire to meet matters on a personal level she hopes to change the way the home care industry offer their services. Managing Care aims to give our clients and future clients access to quality and flexible home care but with a personal touch.Esther explains: “I really enjoy interviewing each carer who are employed at Managing Care. I look for carers who share our passion and vision, who have personal reasons for wanting to provide the best care for our clients and who can give that extra attention and concern in the broadest sense. Our carers have won each year varied awards by the Great British Care Awards. Our carers demonstrate very clear empathy to their clients and their needs.”
